Be Still and Know!

These last few weeks have been a time of trial and suffering. I really can't go into detail but I have seen the Lord like never before work in my life.

I had several people at different times remind me at different times the verse "Be still and Know that I am God". People have even left me emails with the verse "Be Still and Know that I am God" in it and I was looking at a couple of Christian magazines and Books and I would see the verse pop out "Be still and Know". God is good! I never really experience this in my life before but I know if it wasnt for God being a comfort and an encourager to me I don't know.

I was riding in my car the other night crying and I turned the radio and the first song to play is "The Power of Love"

Here are the words:

Lord, I come to You -- let my heart be changed, renewed

Flowing from the grace that I've found in You.

Lord, I've come to know

The weaknesses I see in me -- will be stripped away

By the power of Your love


Hold me close,

Let Your love surround me

Bring me near, draw me to Your side

And as I wait, I'll rise up like the eagle

And I will soar with You

Your Spirit leads me on by the power of Your love


Lord, unveil my eyes, let me see You face to face,


The knowledge of Your love, as You live in me.

Lord, renew my mind, as Your will unfolds in my life,

In living every day by the power of Your love
