Mini 2 day vacation away from home

So Friday we took off at 5:30 to Lake George NY. We stayed at a beautiful campsite in Warrenburg NY and the cabin we stayed in was so cute. I will post pictures soon.

So we arrived at 9 pm and checked in we walked around the campground and settled in. We were able to go online too and check our emails and then after a little of that Eric and I sat around talking for a while and then fell asleep.

Saturday we woke up and went down to Lake George village and see all the shops. We saw Pizza Hut and Eric said "Oh boy its been a long time since we had pizza at Pizza hut so that was our lunch. It was so yummy. After lunch we went to a shop and bought 2 Lake George Tee shirts. Eric picked out a tan tee shirt and I picked out a green one. We have a fetish when we go out of state or go to a vacation we have to have a tee shirt for it. So far we have Old Lyme, Florida, Newport, Lake George, and VA Tee-shirts! I guess its a tradition! We arrived at Great Escape at 2:30 and went on some rides and walked around. The weather was so hot! Too bad we forgot our bathing suits...Lol I probably would not wear one in public until I reached a certain weight. Maybe never ...........the way I am going....Lol. We had fun there but then it started to thunder and rain and we left around 6:30 we mostly went on all the rides we wanted to go on. After the park we went across the street to Trapper's Restaurant. I saw a gift card on Restaurant.com and printed it out on Friday night before we left. Let me tell you the food was delicious. We had the best steak ever! Eric and I ordered both a 12 oz NY Strip. It was so tender and juicy! After dinner Eric and I decided to take a look at the lodge/waterpark. It
is opened 365 days of the year and maybe the next time we go we will stay there. After that we went to Super walmart and we happened to see someone we know from CT. Isn't that cool!
We came back to the cabin lighted the fire and made smores and sat around the fire talking. After that we watched a movie.

Sunday we slept in late and after we woke up we lighted the fire to make hot dogs for our lunch. The campsite had a pool and we went swimming for a while and laid out. We packed up around 3pm and left for CT. Thank the Lord we ended up home safely. It was raining hard and the visiblity was awful.

What a great weekend we had together. I want to go back already!
